Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Palm Coast

“Had a positive experience at this Microtel Inn. The staff was great! Breakfast was lacking though. Nothing to really make a complete meal. You can make waffles, pancakes, bagels but no meat or eggs. There was bread, oranges, cereal, only whole milk, yogurt, tea bags, and oatmeal packs. I didn't see anywhere to get hot water, but I guess it was available. I stayed in a suite and was satisfied with the room. I wish there was at least a stove surface, but I made do. Update: There is a $14.95/night charge added to your credit card upon departure. The fine print in my confirmation email mentions an option of paying a $50 cash deposit. I would ask about doing that if I stayed there again. I'm curious to see if they'd actually just accept the $50 cash and not also charge your credit card. The cash option makes much more sense if you're staying more than 3 nights. I would prefer the hotel was more upfront with this and just included it in the total when I prepaid for the room instead of it showing up after the fact.”

“I had called the hotel in the early afternoon when I knew we would be arriving late. The person answering the phone was very polite & said she would leave a note for the night person & they check-in until 2:00a.m. When I thanked her —- instead of saying “NO PROBLEM” she responded “Happy to help” leaving me with a much happier mood. Upon our arrival the front desk person was very accommodating & friendly in a professional manner. My 4 rating for the room is only because the bathroom is looking pretty tired with poor workmanship & could use an update. My 4 on the service is only because after having the self help breakfast we returned to our room and found that neither key worked. Had the inconvenience of going back down to the front desk. The person was in a conversation with another staff person. She immediately stopped & turned her attention to me, but she didn’t apologize for my inconvenience, reprogrammed my cards & handed them to me. That was it. I could have been anybody.”

“My stay in the Microtel was amazing. Close to everything and where I needed to be. Excellent breakfast and service. The breakfast attendant went out of her way to be helpful and pleasant. They even had a small pool. Everything worked and towels changed daily. Very satisfied with my stay. I would stay here again. Thank you Microtel.”
